In this webinar, Prosple’s Sam McDonald discussed ‘Evergreen Graduate Marketing Strategies’ and how leading employers are adopting new and innovative approaches to attracting early talent. Sam was joined by Stephanie Kish from Pitcher Partners and Janani D’Silva from Capgemini who shared their insights on what strategies their companies have adopted.
Some of the key learnings:
- Ensure you are consistently engaging with students – there’s plenty of free/cost-effective ways of doing this like posting on your social media channels, attending student society events and engaging with candidates on Whirlpool.
- Make sure your employer brand is visible year-round – With ~30% of students begin their job search by the end of their first year of uni, it is so important to ensure your brand is accessible to students as early on in their job search as possible
- Give students interesting/useful content to engage with online – Gen Zers are digital natives, so by publishing ‘Day in the life’ articles, Virtual Experiences etc, this helps students better understand your company and the opportunities that you offer which leads to better quality applications
