Across the board, students are more engaged with their job search than ever before. We have seen a 21% increase in students on our sites (GradAustralia, GradNewZealand) this year, with a 99% increase in pages viewed in comparison with the first 6 months of last year. We have also seen that students are applying for more roles than ever before, with application numbers up a whopping 36% year on year! There are more students graduating university than ever before, and with some employers pausing their hiring this year due to covid-19, students are hedging their bets and applying for more programs.
Earlier this month we launched ‘Virtual Experience Programs’ across our career products. We are pleased to share that the overall student engagement has been extremely positive! So far we have had over 1,000+ students register and participate in these programs which have been created by leading graduate employers including Capgemini, Telstra, L’Oreal and Herbert Smith Freehills. If your organisation is interested in creating a program to help students better understand the opportunities that you offer to students, please get in touch with your Account Manager and they can assist.

These include Ability-Key, a site dedicated to helping students with a disability find suitable employers, Proud Career Starter, geared to helping LGBT community and Her-thology, which lists articles and graduate employers that have supportive programs for women.
We’re proud to share that we’ve formed a number of new industry partnerships with universities to help their students transition from education to employment. These include:
