Your role

Your responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design, development, and testing of robotic systems and supporting devices
  • Support hardware and software integration
  • Perform other engineering duties as assigned
  • Collaborate with ABB teams across the globe
  • Troubleshoot and debug robotic systems
  • Mentoring and networking opportunities
  • Personal and professional development programing will be offered to all interns. This programing will include global and local sessions

About you

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Engineering, in the United States
  • Intern must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite
  • Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment
  • Read and interpret electrical & mechanical drawings
  • Basic robot programming
  • Microsoft Office suite
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future
  • Utilize critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and develop strategic solutions
  • Effectively organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
  • Demonstrate the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising quality
  • Collaborate with team members to convey ideas, share information, and provide updates on project progress
