Working Hours at Arup

9.1
9.1 rating for Working Hours, based on 7 reviews
How flexible is your company when it comes to hours?
I generally work 37.5 hours, up to 50 on rare occasions if I am based on site, with the option to either get paid overtime or take time in-leu. ARUP is very flexible when it comes to hours with a few people working 4 days a week or part time, or some people working full time but spreading their hours out differently, eg. an extra hour 4 days a week and one half day.

Very flexible - everyone trusts you to do the hours you're suppossed to

Good flexibility, but sometimes requires working extensive unpaid overtime

The standard number of hours in general is quite consistent across a week but how you split up that time can vary depending on when you start/ finish each day during the week and if you have any other commitments during work hours etc. Working from home is also an option but as graduates we are encouraged to come to the office as much as we can for the informal learning that comes with it.
