Your role

As part of the Deloitte Centre of Excellence for Climate and Sustainability, you will support Deloitte’s ESG initiatives across the region by working on a range of related topics. As part of the Centre of Excellence (CoE), you will support the implementation of Deloitte’s region-wide initiatives for Audit & Assurance on climate and sustainability.

The work will include

  • Support end-to-end implementation of ESG training initiatives (e.g., events and webinars)
  • Conduct research and analysis on emerging sustainability trends in the region
  • Desktop research and content development for reports, articles, and other publications on emerging climate-related issues.
  • Internal regional coordination with ESG teams
  • Support the development of an internal ESG newsletter
  • Administrative work including record keeping, note taking, etc.
  • Provide ad-hoc admin support to CoE Lead.

Training & development

In this role, you will gain first-hand experience and insights into the challenges and opportunities faced by different stakeholders in the region (e.g. companies, regulators, etc.) when it comes to ESG issues. You will also gain valuable work experience and be able to build your own capacity on climate-related issues and trends in the Asia Pacific.

About you

The successful candidate will have the following demonstrated experiences and competencies:

  • Ability to work independently and proactively  
  • Knowledge of ESG issues and corporate trends with a focus on climate-related issues in the region
  • Organizational skills – the ability to maintain a high attention to detail while managing multiple tasks
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
  • Experience in report writing and publishing
  • Experience in virtual and physical event organization and delivery
  • Passion for corporate environmental, social, and governance issues.
  • Ability to translate, clarify, generate, and capture ideas
  • Formal English writing skills.
  • Design (e.g., Photoshop or InDesign) and marketing skills would be an advantage but not essential.
