About Grab Singapore

Grab started with the simple mission of making safe and comfortable rides accessible for everyone. Today, Grab has grown into a household name preferred by everyday consumers in Southeast Asia.

Grab’s ambition is to build a trusted and secure marketplace where entrepreneurs and consumers can participate and thrive with peace of mind. As millions continue to rely on Grab daily, safety remains its top priority.

Over the years, Grab has expanded its offerings across Southeast Asia to include deliveries, mobility, financial services, enterprise, and others—all through one superapp. These services connect consumers from all walks of life with everyday entrepreneurs, providing delightful experiences and fulfilling the daily needs of millions across 428 cities and 8 countries.

Your Role

You will be part of a team staffing Singapore’s well-loved food site HungryGoWhere, which publishes the latest food news, reviews, and recommendations.

As a food content intern, you will support the HungryGoWhere editorial team and have the opportunity of putting together compelling articles on the burgeoning F&B scene in Singapore — from food guides to reviews to longer-form interviews. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in learning the ropes of food writing and reporting and generating content to captivate audiences.

The Day-to-Day Activities

  • Propose and develop ideas for food guides and reviews, food trend pieces, and food news stories, and put these articles together for publication through interviews and research. Take photos and videos to accompany the articles where needed
  • Chase leads on developments in the F&B sector and evaluates food-related news tip-offs for possible follow-up
  • Prepare the articles (with images and videos where applicable) for publication on the platform and help in the management of social media
  • Pursue other stories, features, and duties assigned by the editorial team

Learning Objectives

  • Proposing, developing, and executing content
  • Developing research skills and interview techniques to meet content objectives
  • Understanding the intersection of content and social media so as to drive traffic
  • Managing stakeholders and working with cross-functional teams
  • Behind-the-scenes look into Grab’s business
