Your role

The work the team does involves a significant amount of passion for customer experience and operations, which usually means that it needs to be constantly striving to improve, think quickly on its feet, and come up with efficient and effective solutions to problems and operational processes. It not only serves as the first touch point the GrabRentals drivers but also provides detailed rental consultation to its drivers and proactively helps solve the drivers’ issues.

Get to know the Role

• Maintain the system and database for the GR portal.
• Design, schedule, test, and deploy any change management, enhancements, and new feature requests.
• Champion process improvements & implement automation for the operations.
• Create proper documentation for the works.

Training & development

Grab internships are designed to provide real-world experience that enables you to put everything you've learned into action. During the internship you will:

• Understand GR’s rental operations 
• Learn to understand the users’ needs and translate them into the correct requirements and specifications
• Learn to use design thinking in solving problems
• Learn to build features and enhancements to an existing GR portal
• Learn to manage different stakeholders.

Compensation 

The typical Intern salary at Grab ranges from SGD 12,000 to SGD 18,000 per year. This estimate is based on the salary report provided by Grab Interns in Glassdoor.

About you

The must-haves

• Undergraduate in Computer Engineering/ Computer Science/ Engineering
• Experience in building a web-based application
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) & G Suite apps (Google Sheets)
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Proactive and meticulous
• Knowledge of AWS, Git, VueJS, NodeJS, Javascript, Python, HTML, CSS, SQL. 
• Familiar with basic command line interfaces.
