Your Role

The Digital Media Specialist Apprenticeship is a two-year, benefits-eligible program of Warner Bros. As a DMS Apprentice, you will provide media support by:

  • Organizing, transcoding, and transferring media for editorial sessions.
  • Ingesting media into project and asset management systems complete with metadata tagging.
  • Communicating with network and editorial partners around their media needs.
  • Organizing, commissioning, and managing assets inside our asset management systems.
  • Archiving and retrieving content per the needs of editing audio and design or VFX Teams.

Salary & Benefits

The total compensation package for this position may include other elements depending on the position offered. The salary for this role ranges from approximately $36,000 to $74,000 per year. Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

About You

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe Premiere, and/or After Effects.
  • Very familiar with asset and project management processes.
  • Thorough understanding of media workflows, file transcoding, and post-production processes
  • Excellent customer service skills, solid interpersonal skills, strong communication, high attention to detail, meticulous organizational skills, and excellent time management skills.
  • Must be self-motivated, intuitive, take initiative, and can perform under very tight deadlines.
  • Previous post-production television experience preferred
