Your role

About Global Markets:

Global Markets is BNP Paribas’ capital markets business within the Corporate & Institutional Bank (CIB), delivering solutions across asset classes, and industry-leading services for clients including institutional, corporates, private banks, and retail distribution networks.

Global Markets encompasses five global business lines:

  • G10 Rates
  • Equity Derivatives (“EQD”)
  • FXLM & Commodity Derivatives
  • Prime Solutions & Financing
  • Primary & Credit Markets

What you’ll do:

As part of the Convertible Bond Trading team, the successful applicant will be involved in assisting the sales team in their daily tasks:

  • Interaction with trading
  • Interaction with research
  • Interaction with MO/BO
  • Production of analysis of the market
  • Production of analysis of the business

Key responsibilities:

  • Ensuring smooth post-trade.
  • Producing reports on business and markets.
  • Automation of process. Providing data to both sales and trading.
  • Working with IT on the development of new features in desk tools.
  • Coordinate client events.

    About you

    Competencies required for the role:

    • Interest in financial markets with knowledge of option theory, fixed income, and rates markets.
    • Strong autonomy and ability to learn.
    • Good communication skills and teamwork spirit.
    • Previous experience in market finance is a plus.
    • Strong academic track record
    • Fluency in written and spoken English; other European languages an advantage
    • Strong IT Skills – mainly Excel, VBA, and SQL
    • Prior experience in the finance sector is an advantage
    • Ability to think analytically and demonstrate attention to detail
    • Good communication skills
