Your role

The Team:

HP Inc. Workforce Services & Solutions team is responsible for delivering a broad range of software capabilities, including generating actionable insights from business data, increasing operational efficiency with automation, and building breakthrough experiences for HP products and services. These products will connect with millions of HP PCs and Printers to collect data and create manageability solutions.

They are looking for bright and motivated student interns to join them on the journey to building highly scalable applications that power enterprise businesses. Different technological streams are available depending on the student's interest and the organization.

  •  VC++, .C#, .NET framework for endpoint solutions
  • Java or Go lang on cloud applications
  • Python, Scala, and Spark for data engineering
  • React.JS, Javascript, CSS, and HTML for user Interfaces.

Responsibilities:

As a Software Engineer Intern, you will work with the HP Inc. Workforce Services & Solutions team is responsible for :

  • Develop, debug, and create solutions.
  • Create high-level designs and, when required, work with other designers/ architects.
  • You may also need to understand, debug, and create POCs.
  • Co-work on features with global teams.
  • Deliver using agile process using CI/CD pipelines.
  • Participate in code reviews.

Training & development

It's a 12-week paid Summer 2024 Internship designed to let you apply your classroom learnings to real-world challenges. The internships have a thoughtful balance of networking, executive speakers, community involvement, and big meaty projects. The intern program is intended to enhance your overall learning experience, allow you to make an impact, have some fun, and meet great people along the way.

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is $25 -- $36 hourly.

About you

Education and Experience Required:

  • 2nd or 3rd Year of University completed or 1st year of Master's completed--typically a technical degree specialization.

Preferred Majors:

  • Bachelor’s or Master's Degree with a focus on Software Engineering, Data Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related technical field.
