Your role

About the team:

The People Programme Management team at Grab focuses on planning strategic directions, priorities, and resource allocation for the People function. They seek an intern to support building the people strategy and associated programs, ensuring alignment with key objectives.

Your role as a People Programme Management Intern will have a direct impact on the strategic goals of the People Operations team while gaining many insights to the HR business environment as well as the different stakeholders to Grab as you interact with them regularly to effect strategic change.

As an intern, your responsibilities include:

  • Support the People Programme Management in the execution of HR strategy planning, budgeting process, and project implementation.
  • Conduct research on both Grab's current HR practices and leading industry practices.
  • Define the right program/project structure and support the project team in ensuring timely delivery of projects while meeting customer satisfaction.
  • Organise discovery sessions to identify problem statements and gather business requirements.
  • Drive project change management and communication efforts.
  • Maintain and build on Project management methodologies, assets, templates, and communication materials.
  • Design and organize engagement initiatives to improve the visibility of the People Programme Management team.

  • You have experience in communicating strategy details effectively.
  • You are adept at navigating through ambiguous and quick turn-around situations.
  • You are available from May - Aug 2024, full-time. The internship duration can be extended to Dec 2024 upon mutual agreement.
  • You are pursuing your undergraduate degree in Human Resources, Business, Arts & Social Science, or other relevant courses.
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with experience in project management, critical thinking, communications, and consulting (nice to have).
