How to update your employer overview

Team Prosple

The first thing students and graduates will see will be your profile. Start updating this section to set you off to a good start!

This content will serve as the main overview of your profile or where students land whenever they click your employer name on our site.

  1. First, you need to log in to https://portal.prosple.com/
    1. If you don’t have a login, please contact [email protected] and ask for an invitation to be sent to you to access the Employer Portal
  2. On the menu on the left-hand side click “Employer Profile”
  3. From there you would see five sub-sections:
    1. Basic Details
    2. Branding
    3. Social Media
    4. About the Organisation
    5. Hiring Criteria
    6. Hiring Locations
  4. Each section is important, and it may take a while to finish this, but you only need to do it once. You can then later update any section as needed.
  5. Each section has instructions and context as to what information is needed but let’s discuss each in detail:

Basic Details

  • Organisatiion name - Name as how you want it to appear online.
  • Any alternative name - Any other names your organisation is known by.
  • Your website - link to your recruitment homepage

Branding

Employer hub Branding tab

This is the area where you place your logo and banner which will show in your profile here:

Note: Your logo and banner would be crisp and clear if you follow the suggested format and dimensions for each.

Social Media

e-hub social media tab

This is were you will place your social media links for sites such as:

  • Facebook
  • Twitter
  • Linkedin

  • Instagram

This will be displayed under the banner of your profile along with your recruitment site here:

About the organisation

This section would be the longest but one of the most important sections to fill in. In this area, you will outline:

150-character long summary that will appear on the listings here:

summary section

A long-text description of your organisation, recruitment process, remuneration and career growth that will show here:

employer long text description section

And  your industry sector that will show here:

Note: Please make sure each sentence above is written from a 3rd person's writing point of view. While first-person writing offers a connection between you and the reader, 3rd-person writing offers to present information without bias or emotion leading to a more acceptable tone for any readers.

Hiring Criteria

Hiring Locations

hiring locations section

This is the last section but is important in a way that it helps the site identify where your opportunities are located and what filters they belong to in the listings when graduates or students search for you

location search

Completing all these sections is the first step in attracting the right candidates and will enable you to add jobs via the employer portal.
